This September will mark the 30th annual edition of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, with the three-day event set to feature hundreds of agricultural exhibitors.
The Farm Show, which boasts of being Eastern Canada’s largest such event, is aimed at farmers and others in the agricultural industry who are looking to keep abreast of the latest technology and connect with others. Networking is just as crucial in agriculture as in other fields of business, with Business Cards and websites often just as important as tractors and hoes. The weekend will feature a number of equipment demonstration to show how equipment works on an actual farm, including drones, straw choppers, and the Skid Steer Ride & Drive.
Also to be included on the show grounds is a Livestock Central area featuring presentations and exhibits. These will showcase the latest topics in raising livestock, as well as live animals including sheep and cattle, and there will also be Crop Plots exhibiting different types of plants grown under different conditions and practices. The outdoor setting is designed to allow visitors to see the effects of agricultural techniques in a real-world environment. There will also be social events and gatherings such as the AgTech Breakfast and Innovations Program throughout the event.
The 2023 installment of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show will take place from September 12 to 14 at the Discovery Farm Woodstock, which contains 330 acres of experimental farmland.
