This October will see a special marketplace held this October alongside a chili contest.
The Hello Autumn Market & Chili Contest will play host to 20 local vendors looking to provide home and body products that are perfect for the fall season, in addition to other items. Already announced for the event are businesses such as Starry Nights Naturals, Noah’s Crayon Creations, Tiny Papers Hugs, Sweet Little Candles and more will be added in the lead-up to the market. Local markets and events provide an opportunity for individual artisans and small businesses to meet new customers, often providing Business Cards or other items to make long-term connections.
In addition to the market, there will be a chili contest where local cooks can try out their personal recipes for the cold-weather treat. Each entry will be judged, with a $100 cash prize and other items given to the best-tasting mix. More contest details are also set to be announced in the future. The market is sponsored by Oxford County and Area Expos, which holds many such events in the Woodstock area, with other October markets including Harvest Market in Innerkip and Cosmos, Cauldrons & Costume Market in Woodstock.
The Hello Autumn Market & Chili Contest is set for the morning of October 15 at the Salvation Army Church in Woodstock.
