The Woodstock Art Gallery’s annual Taste of Art fundraiser will be holding its 10th annual edition this September, marking a decade of combining fine art with fine dining.
The fundraiser will invite food and drink vendors into the gallery to create a festive atmosphere for attendees to eat, drink, and browse the works. Participating vendors include Crafty Corner Tea Room, Finkle Streets Dining, and Reel Treats Popcorn and Sweets. There will also be live musical entertainment provided by local acts like Cheesy Cow Co, Ingersoll Pipe Band, and The Wright Stuff.
The fundraiser will be a gala event with semi-formal dress recommended. Visitors are also encouraged to incorporate the event colours of emerald green, black, and metallic shades into their outfits as they take in the gallery’s exhibits and permanent collection. The goal of the event is to raise money towards acquiring new artwork by acclaimed Canadian creator Shelley Niro.
Funds will be raised through ticket sales as well as a silent auction. Items will include branded merchandise from local businesses, Gift Certificates for live events, furniture, and handmade art. Fundraising occasions like this often use speeches and brochure printing to help explain the benefits of the cause they are supporting.
