Trust fund awards $73,000 in printing scholarships

Students enrolling to train for jobs as Stationery printers in Woodstock may be encouraged to discover that more than $73,000 has been made available in scholarship funding. The Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund has awarded $73,750 in scholarship money for 2010 alone; this is the highest total in seven years.

The favorable news about the award of this scholarship money is that it does not discriminate: Both new students and those already enrolled and looking to continue their studies are eligible to receive money from this trust fund. In fact, 30 new students enrolled in first-year courses received a sum total of $41, 250, while 26 more learned students who have already been enrolled in this scholarship program got a lump sum of $32, 500 among them.

While the actual worth of each scholarship is only $1,250, students who excel in their studies are eligible for an amount of funding worth $5,000, thanks to the Warren Wilkins Prestige Scholarship.

This Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund came into existence way back in the year 1971 when a collection of printing industry executives came together. Since that time almost 40 years ago, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been donated to the trust from various individuals and companies linked to Canada’s printing industry.

Young people about to either continue or begin their studies as Stationery printers in Woodstock should look into applying for such funding from this trust fund. All applicants must only be enrolled or about to be enrolled in a full-time, approved program and demonstrate seriousness about entering the Print industry.
