Outdoor Farm Show held in Woodstock

Farmers and representatives of the agricultural industry took part in the 20th annual Canada Outdoor Farm Show in Woodstock recently. The event is known to draw crowds from all across the country and around the world.

More than 730 exhibitors set up displays and exhibits at the show, with a newly introduced middle lane allowing for an increase on last year’s numbers.

There were also two new stage set-ups - the FCC Industry pavilion and the Horticulture pavilion. Both had signage that had been produced by Print companies. Poster and flyer printing is often used at these occasions to ensure attendees are kept well informed.

As part of the show, feed mix manufacturer Jaylor Fabricating hosted a conference for 100 of its dealers, where it unveiled a new addition to its line of agricultural products. DeLeval, which is another company that serves the farming industry, also introduced its new feed mix and dairy feeding management system. These two companies, along with all the others who participated, showcased Canada’s contribution to this vital sector of the world’s economy.

An Exhibitor Appreciation gala took place at the Oxford Auditorium in the Woodstock Fairgrounds. It gave the fair a chance to give thanks to those who have participated throughout the years. The ceremony focused specifically on the 63 people who have been there since it first started in 1993. They were recognized with a special award and their names were printed on a sign that will be displayed during subsequent fairs.
