Next month’s Woodstock All Sorts Craft and Small Business Fair, will no doubt be a great way to kick off the holiday gift-buying season, featuring prizes, food vendors, musical entertainment, and vendors representing local businesses. There will also be a silent auction, with items donated by local companies.
Vendors already signed up include those selling jewelry, wooden toys, scrapbooking supplies, spa products, purses, woodcrafts, crocheted items, and model airplanes. Home-based businesses, such as Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, and Avon will also be in attendance.
It should be the perfect place to find a unique and handmade gift for a close friend or family member. Vendors taking part in the fair will surely consider consulting Woodstock printing companies to make their preparations and might be interested in investing in banner printing or flyer printing services to promote their wares.
The fair will take place at CAW Local 636 on November 17 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Admission is free. All proceeds go towards Bustamove 2013. For more information please call Heather Atkinson at 519-537-8138.
Bustamove for breast health is a one-day ‘fitness extravaganza’ which takes place in several communities throughout Canada, often featuring special celebrity guests. The event taking place closest to Woodstock will be in London, Ontario on April 13, 2013. It will be a six-hour event which will raise funds for the Breast Care Centre at St. Joseph’s Health Care. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, now is an excellent time for Woodstock citizens and businesses to consider how they can help the cause.
