The 3rd annual Dairy Capital Cheese Fest will be taking place next month in Woodstock- a location often referred to as the ‘Dairy Capital of Canada’.
The event will feature some of the area’s best providers of cheese including artisans, restaurants, and cheesemakers. Guests will have the opportunity to sample as many cheese items as they wish throughout the day. Several local wineries and breweries will also be providing samples of their products to the public. Most of these exhibitors will also be selling their products.
Ticket holders will receive a shopping bag for their purchases and a branded sampling glass. Tasting tickets are available for $1 each. Only those aged 19 and over will be served alcohol therefore proper identification is required.
There will also be seminars and interactive demos provide by exhibitors. In addition, there will be live entertainment, a photo booth and a social media wall. There will also be a Kids’ Zone with plenty of arts and crafts, games and family-friendly activities.
Woodstock printing companies are often asked to provide items such as tickets for events such as these.
The Dairy Capital Cheese Fest will be held at the Oxford Auditorium on April 28 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. To learn more about this event, call 519-860-3347.
