The Celebration of Life in Colour is taking place at the end of this month, raising funds for the Woodstock Youth Committee.
The day will start off with a color run where participants are sprayed with multicolored powder, which will be followed by lunch. Later in the evening will be a dinner dance competition and then a dance for people between the ages of 12 and 24.
A number of vendors will be on hand to promote their products, as will representatives of several local community organizations dedicated to serving the youth of the city. Many of these vendors will no doubt be handing out freebies such as magnets and Pens, and these types of Promotional Products will likely be ordered from Woodstock printing companies. Food and drink will also be available for purchase.
Those who cannot make it to the event but still want to help can participate in an online auction. The Woodstock Youth Committee is dedicated to providing inclusion for youth and relaying positive messages dealing with mental health issues.
The Celebration of Life in Colour celebration will be held at Southside Park on July 29 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Tickets are $5 each and adults must be accompanied by a youth. Visit the Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.
