Families from across Woodstock are welcome to take part in a fundraiser for Central Public School that will raise money to help enhance the educational experience of its students.
The school’s parent council will be hosting family fun day, with activities for people of all ages. There will be a barbeque, a car show and shine, face painting, games, a bake sale and cake walk, and a range of carnival games. Many vendors from the local area will also have informational displays set up to browse through, and prize drawings and free popcorn will be provided. Poster printing services can be utilized to create a variety of items that can promote an activity such as this throughout the surrounding community.
Funds raised will be used by the school to help support and fund different classroom activities that enhance the students’ learning experience. It will also be put towards covering the cost of field trips, technology enhancements, and purchasing resources and educational materials for the school.
The fun will begin at 410 Hunter St in Woodstock at 9:00 am on October 1, and it will last throughout the day, winding up at 3:00 pm.
