Cowapalooza marks two decades of Woodstock rock

Woodstock's annual music festival Cowapolooza will be holding its 21st annual edition this year.

The festival features live music, vendors, and kids’ activities. The first night of the festival will be Cowapolooza country, headlined by hit-making group River Town Saints. The second and final night will focus on rock music, featuring Juno award-winning group Sloan. Saturday afternoon will focus on children’s entertainment, including busker shows, a balloon artist, outdoor games, and much more. The event will be free for all to attend, with attendees welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to spread out on the grass.

Throughout the whole weekend there will be food, drinks, and artisan vendors across the grounds, providing a sample of businesses from throughout Oxford County and beyond. Confirmed food and drink vendors include Funnel Cake Factory, On Tea Rio Bubble Tea, and Shaw’s Gourmet Dogs & Spuds, while Beautiful Day Clothing Company, Kerry’s Tie Die, and Pepper Tree Spice Co are among the other vendors. Vendors at events like this often use banner printing or special sales to help attract attention and win over customers.

The 2024 Cowapolooza will take place on August 17 and 18 at Southside Park in Woodstock. There will be a free shuttle bus running from the Civic Centre Arena to the park on both nights.
