Picking up and moving a company to a new location can be a very daunting prospect, but Woodstock business owner Randy Hosick will be doing just that.
His company, Personal Service Coffee, sells coffee supplies to the wholesale market and, at present, employs eight people.
Several months ago, Randy was informed that due to the town’s zoning ordinances, he could no longer remain at his store’s current address at Ridgeway Circle, and would have to find a new place to set up shop. This meant that he would have to purchase new signage, as the material he currently uses is very specific to the present location. This can be true any time a company moves. Fortunately, he has secured the services of a Print company, which has been able to make new Signs for him, as well as updated Business Cards.
Randy did consider relocating to a different community, but felt that he already has an excellent customer-base and great staff. Staying in the Woodstock area will mean he will be able to keep both. While Randy did sign a five-year lease for his current address, he explained that he understands these sorts of things can happen.
Customers can continue to visit his current shop until July 28th, at which time he will close down operations for two days while he moves his inventory to the new store. It is scheduled to open on July 31st, at 1147 Dundass street in the old Fabricville building.
