Annual festival celebrates Woodstocks past

The 17th annual Cowapolooza festival is taking place this month in Woodstock for three days.

The event consists of two nights of concerts and an all-day family-friendly festival.

The first concert will take place on

Friday night starting at 7:00 PM and will feature The Mudmen and Shania Live, a Shania Twain tribute act. Saturday’s concert is also set to begin at 7:00 PM and will feature well-known Canadian bands the Spoons and April Wine.

Sunday will feature a wide variety of activities that should appeal to people of all ages. There will be a cow milking contest, appearances by a strongman and smash wrestling. For the children, they will be able to get close to vehicles with the Touch-a-Truck activity and enjoy a number of rides.

Food trucks will be on hand to sell food and drink and arts and crafts vendors will be selling their handmade items such as pottery, jewelry, paintings, ceramics and clothing. Vendor spaces are available for $115 each for arts and crafts and $300 for food.

The organizers of similar festivals often contact Woodstock Stationery printers for marketing materials such as Flyers and Posters.
