In existence for multiple years now, the African Experience provides space for vendors from throughout Southern Ontario representing African cuisine, jewellery, clothing and other products. The festival is open to all and encourages visitors to try something new. There will also be live performances of music, dance, and other performances representing different styles and traditions from across Africa.
The event is sponsored by K Business Group and Hakan Foods, who express their goal of spreading cultural awareness:
“We're passionate about sharing the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of Africa with Canadians. This year, as we fully rise from the pandemic, we are celebrating Canada day African style!”
The Canada Day edition will be a two-day event, with an “opening night” on the 30th and a full day of markets on the 1st. Cultural festivals such as these can help vendors in a wide variety of businesses reach new customers, with such vendors often using Business Cards or sharing social media handles to help make long-lasting connections. Vendors are invited to apply for the festival, with the best selected to participate.
The Canada Day African Experience festival will take place at Oxford Auditorium on June 30 and July 1.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
