Winterloo returns this January

Waterloo residents can embrace the winter season this January at the city’s annual Winterloo festival.

Opened in 2009, Waterloo Public Square is designed to bring people together and will be one of the main locations for Winterloo. Winterloo is a free festival designed to help celebrate the season and break away from the winter blues. The festival has activities for people of all ages, both indoors and outdoors.

Attendees can see award-winning ice carvers, enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink, or play one of the giant games sprinkled throughout the festival. Throughout the event, attendees can listen to a range of music from the event DJ and warm up with food from local food trucks or hot drinks. Winterloo is run by Create Waterloo.

Planning an event with so many diverse activities like Winterloo requires a lot of coordination, but if attendees do not know what is occurring and when, it can all be for nothing. This is why many events utilize brochure printing to make it easier for attendees to know where different activities are occurring and, if necessary, at what times.

Attendees can find Winterloo at Waterloo Public Square, located at 75 King St S, Waterloo. Winterloo will occur on January 25, 2025, starting at 12 pm. In the event of inclement weather or rain, the festival will be postponed to February 1.
