This holiday season, Waterloo residents will be able to serve their guests some new light bites thanks to an upcoming culinary workshop.
The staff at 1909 Culinary Academy will be sharing their knowledge with members of the public during the Party Pleasing Appetizers class. It will be focused on small plate dishes, and both hot and cold options will be introduced to the group.
Registrants will be taught how to make a variety of simple but elegant hors d’oeuvres, and gluten-free and vegan options will be included. To help keep the amount of single service plastic used to a minimum, everyone is asked to bring their own reusable containers and a water bottle, and they will be required to show proof of Covid vaccination. Tickets for the workshop are available online, and they start at $107.35 each.
People often enjoy learning how to make a new dish, and Print shops can provide laminated recipe cards so that they can prepare them in their own kitchen. These items may be handed out during workshops and classes like this to help the attendees get cooking.
1909 Culinary Academy is offering home chefs the chance to learn some new skills at its Party Pleasing Appetizers class on December 7th. It will run from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm, and the venue can be found at 5183 Trussler Road in Ayr.
