Reep Green Solutions is turning 20, and it has planned a birthday celebration to mark the occasion. As a zero waste party, it will pay tribute to those who make sustainable living choices, and this Waterloo event is open to one and all.
People of all ages are invited to don their favourite green outfit and head to the Bandshell Field area of Waterloo Park West, and when they arrive, they will be treated to three hours of fun. Tickets are $5 each, and this includes admission, refreshments and also a bag filled with environmentally friendly Promotional Products and an assortment of other swag.
After they have chosen their spot to sit and unfolded their chair or spread out their blanket, the guests at the event will be welcome to join in the assorted activities. Tickets can be purchased for the carnival games and raffles, and while they enjoy the afternoon, the crowd can mingle and meet others who share their care and concern for the environment.
As the goal for this celebration is for it to be a “zero waste event”, a request has been made that the attendees do their part. They have been asked to use reusable water bottles, cloth napkins and cutlery they can wash and reuse.
