The Grand River Glassworks Anniversary Celebration and Christmas Open House is taking place in Waterloo early next month.
Grand River Glassworks offers workshops in a variety of different skills, including the making of glass ornaments and glass fusing. It also has a gallery and a gift shop.
The open house will offer the public a behind-the-scenes view of the premises. In addition, all art in the gallery will be offered for sale at 10 percent off. There will also be a sale table in which 10% of the purchase price goes to benefit KidsAbility.
During the afternoon, there will be 10 draws for “giveaway” gifts. There will also be sweets, treats, and refreshments served.
When there is not an open house, Grand River Glassworks is open from Tuesday through Saturday each week. The gallery offers a wide variety of glass creations, which are available for sale and make for unique holiday gifts.
To advertise events such as these in Waterloo, local Print companies will often provide items such as Flyers and other handouts that can be easily distributed in the community.
