Peel Region welcomes its newest officers

The Peel region will now have a brand new set of constables to add to the ranks of those who already serve and protect the community. At a recent ceremony in Mississauga, they were sworn in and welcomed to the force.

The event took place in the Emil V. Kolb Center for Police Excellence on Derry Road East in Mississauga.

The newest members of the force were presented with their constable badges after completing a 20-week training period at the Ontario Police College, and an additional period at the Peel Regional Police Training Bureau.

On hand for the ceremony was Emil Kolb, who is the chair of the Regional Municipality of Peel Police Services, as well as the municipality’s Police Chief Jennifer Evans, who presented the new officers with their badges. The oath was administered by Justice Ian Cowan.

The new constables will now go into their final stage of training, during which they will be paired with different officers to gain practical experience in the field.

An event like this marks an important point of transition in the career of these police officers. It is likely a day that they will always remember, and a Print company can help to commemorate the event. Professionals can produce certificates that mark the occasion, as well as commemorative plaques, which these newest of constables will be able to proudly display.
