A day has been planned for Mississauga that will bring those aged over 50 together with a variety of vendors, organizations, and other groups who can help to make their golden years great.
The ‘Golden Years Expo - Living Well, Living Longer’ will give those who come out a chance to find out more about topics related to healthcare, leisure, socializing, and travel in their senior years. Along with the exhibitors, a variety of other activities will take place, including a mini manicure, seminars, demonstrations of yoga, Zumba and other exercises that can help older people to keep active, along with bingo style prize draws and gift Bags for the first 100 to come through the door. The expo is being hosted by the United Senior Citizens of Ontario. While the event is aimed mostly at those over the age of 50, others may wish to attend as well, such as their families or caregivers, and those in healthcare sector or other relevant fields.
The Golden Years Expo will take place on May 10 at the Trinity Hall Banquet and Conference Centre starting at 10:00 am. There is no charge for admission. More details can be found on the event’s website.
