What's Happening in Mississauga, ON…

A Mississauga workshop this summer will equip people with the skills they need to plan functions with the “wow” factor.

This interactive training will explore the process of event planning from the initial stages on up. The administrative side of creating memorable experiences will also be included, as will budgeting and other concerns.

The learners will discover how they can work with a variety of vendors and venues, and security and other issues will also be discussed. A variety of functions will be reviewed, and these will include awards ceremonies, fundraisers, networking mixers, and even corporate conferences. The course will consist of 12 modules, with each focusing on a different aspect of planning.

At the end of the day, the attendees in the class will receive a certificate of completion. Event planning can be a really broad topic, so it can be wise to make sure that each participant in this sort of learning session goes home with a manual crafted by a printing services company that offers even more details – handy if there is more to discuss on the topic than time in the workshop allows.
