Friends and supporters of the Riverwood Conservancy are invited to take part in the upcoming Mississauga Marathon and raise funds to help support Riverwood and its programs.
This year, the organization is one of the official charity partners for the marathon. Whether a person runs, walks or takes part in some other way, everyone’s participation is welcome.
The Mississauga marathon is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon, and along with the full length race, it also has relay runs, a 10-kilometer route, 5-kilometer and 2-kilometer routes, and a walk. Both the half and full marathons will take the runners right by the Riverwood Conservancy.
Registration can be completed online, and this also allows those who participate to use the charity challenge to choose a not-for-profit group that will benefit from them doing so. Those who enter the coupon code TRC will be able to obtain either a free or discounted fee for registering. Once that is step is completed, the participant can set up their own page and encourage their family and friends to lend their support. Registration sheets and other business Forms can be printed to help keep events such as this running as smoothly as possible.
