Mississauga opens latest fire station

Mississauga firefighters protect the community all year long and everyone in the city is invited to be part of an event that will open one of its newest fire stations.

The Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services Team will be welcoming the public for the grand opening of Fire Station 125. It is situated at 6627 Tenth Line W. There will be local dignitaries on hand for the festivities, and they will last for three hours.

The attendees at the function will be invited to take in a filling ceremony, and there will be an opportunity to stop by the information booths to learn more about fire safety. There will be tours of the building as well as an electric pumper truck on display, and to help beat the November chill, light refreshments will be served. Its listing pointed out that this will be the city's first net zero building.

Grand opening events give a business, facility or other establishment a fun way to introduce itself to its home community. An assortment of themed Promotional Products can be prepared for an activity by a local printer, and there is a wide assortment of options on offer.
