Mississauga ON billboard printing company introduces traveling advertising

Printing companies continue to diversify in the types of specialized printing services offered to their clientele. A printing company in Mississauga, ON, has launched a highly effective advertising method that is literally getting cross-country attention: traveling billboards. The promotion? The small community of Quinte West, an amalgamated community part of Trenton, Ontario. The reason? To promote local tourism and interest in the area and perhaps encourage viewers to move there.

The manager of the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce, Suzanne Andrews, estimates that over 10 million Canadians will view the traveling advertisement over a period of 5 years. She hopes that people will take notice of the two four-sided billboard trucks traveling on their cross-country journey, and will choose to visit the community and perhaps reside there. The images advertised depict images from the Quinte West Discovery Guide and Residents Guide. The project began in autumn 2010, under the joint efforts of the Chamber of Commerce, TrenVal and the Eastern Ontario Business Development Corporation. The project is expected to revitalize the image of the area and the project is expected to expand during the next five years, in response to positive feedback.

The banner printing on the trucks is the innovative creation of local printing companies in Mississauga. The images were installed by Print company Turbo Images, based in Mississauga, ON. The demand for modern services, such as portable truck billboard advertising, represents yet another way printing companies can offer their clients innovative printing services and boost business, cross-country exposure and clientele.
