Mississauga looks to rebrand with new logo

As a young city, Mississauga stands ready to move into the future as one of the world’s most dynamic and vibrant places to live. Now, officials are deciding on a brand new logo for the city.

With its 40th birthday coming up, this collection of former townships has certainly come of age; it’s grown to become a beacon for businesses and residents who want to be in a modern city that hasn’t lost touch with its roots.

Consisting of a stylized ‘M’ and plenty of clean lines, sharp angles and open spaces, it is expected to show the rest of the world that Mississauga is a city that is embracing new ideas and concepts in urban design.

In accordance with its Downtown 2021 Master Plan, the community has seen a shift away from urban sprawl. Its new design is more urbanized, and includes downtown green spaces, a central square that is similar to those found in many European cities, and plans for an light rail transit system. These come together to make Mississauga a very attractive place for those looking for a change from the ordinary.

When a city makes a major change such as this, it will need to update all of its printed materials, such as Business Cards, Stationery and other items. A Print company can create all of these plus a whole lot more.
