Hospice Mississauga provides end of life support for individuals and their families, and it will be the beneficiary of an outdoor event that will be held in early September.
The organization will be wrapping up summer with its Golf Fore Hospice tournament, and Granite Ridge will be the course for the day. The players will take on the challenges presented by the Ruby and Cobalt courses, and both offer 18 holes to play through.
The agenda for the day opens with check in and a BBQ lunch, and before the golfers take to the greens, there will be welcome remarks and an explanation of the rules for the event. The golf will get started with a shotgun start, and once all the games are finished, everyone can enjoy the awards dinner and auction.
The monies raised through the day will support the organization's HUUG program. Those who would like to lend a hand can choose to play or serve as a financial sponsor, and Corporate Gifts in kind will also be most appreciated. These can include one-of-a-kind experiences, as well as event tickets, gift cards or other larger items.
This opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of fun in the sun while supporting a local cause will tee off at 1:00 pm on September 9th. Check in and lunch will start at 11:30 am.
