Mississauga festival to showcase area craft brewers

Mississauga beer fans will soon have lots to talk about when they attend an upcoming festival.

The Mississauga Creative Craft Beer Festival, which will kick off the summer patio season, will be showcasing small batch breweries and cideries. The Small Arms Building will be the venue for the two-day event, and as alcohol will be served, it is for adults only.

The function will offer a curated selection of beers, ales, stouts, IPAs and ciders, and food will be available as well. Those who would prefer soft drinks or water will find lots to choose from, and live music for the festivities will be supplied by area performers. The attendees can sit together and enjoy one another’s company, and large format games will be set up. Three sessions are on the agenda.

Each person who purchases a ticket for the function will receive two sampling tokens, as well as a tasting glass printed with a special graphic design. Anyone who would like to purchase additional tokens to exchange for food or beer will be able to do so on site, and its website provides further information for those interesting.

The Mississauga Creative Craft Beer Festival will give suds lovers lots to smile about on June 17th and 18th. The venue is located at 1352 Lakeshore Road East in Mississauga.
