Mississauga event to celebrate sustainability

Many people who call Mississauga home care deeply about the environment and are eager to find ways to lend it a helping hand. An event that can offer them a way to do just that will soon be on offer, and it has been planned in celebration of Ecosource’s 40th anniversary.

The organization has invited the public to be a part of its Food Fest evening, and it will be held at its new downtown Mississauga hub. The guests will be treated to a selection of freshly prepared food, much of which will be harvested in the local area as part of the group’s community initiatives.

Along with a variety of edible offerings, the function will give Ecosource a chance to showcase its field to fork program. There will be special games just for the kids, and everyone can take a few pictures in the photo booth. A raffle will be held, and the attendees can also find out about the organization’s upcoming podcast recording.

The schedule for the evening calls for the doors to open at 4:30 pm, and it will begin with a meet and greet. A local printing services provider can work with the group planning an event like this, and can offer materials that fit well into its overall theme of sustainability.

Ecosource will be welcoming guests for its first ever Food Fest on October 8. It will be taking place at 5070 Fairwind Drive.
