Mississauga has been chosen as the new home for the Canadian headquarters of TmaxSoft.
The Korean-based software company assists
both companies and organizations switch from older technology to cloud storage systems. They also provide a variety of database, middleware and infrastructure software.
Satya Sarangi, the President and CEO of the company’s Canadian operations, remarked that since it dedicates much of its resources to research and development, it is vital that it be headquartered in an area that supports innovation. He feels that Mississauga fits the bill.
As part of its expansion into the Canadian marketplace, TmaxSoft plans on increasing its workforce in the country by threefold, which could create a lot of opportunities for skilled individuals. High tech companies are the sort that use digital Business Cards but can still have a need for more traditional printer services too.
For her part, the mayor of Mississauga, Bonnie Crombie, bid the company a warm welcome to the local area, and noted its decision to locate there reflected well upon its commitment to proving an environment where businesses can grow and thrive. The Information Technology Association of Canada’s President and CEO Karna Gupta added his organization’s voice to the mayor’s and noted he is pleased to see the hi-tech business’s arrival in the information technology community in Canada.
TmaxSoft’s main headquarters are in Seoul, and it also has head offices in the U.K., Brazil, the U.S., India and other countries around the globe.
