Local green thumbs and those who just enjoy the beauty of green plants and flowers may wish to make plans now to take part in this year’s Mississauga Garden Tour.
The event, which will give visitors a behind the scenes look into Riverwood’s MacEwan Garden. They are invited to stroll through grounds, and while they do, they may get inspired to try out some of the ideas in their own home landscapes.
Anyone with questions can talk with one of the property’s volunteer gardeners, who will be happy to share tips and advice. They will also be able to show any visitors around and give description of the various plants and garden layouts.
There is no admission price being charged to take part in the day, and people of all ages are welcome to attend. Reusable pop-up Banners made from materials that can withstand being out in the elements can be designed for a yearly event such as this.
This event will be held on July 22, and it will run from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Those who are interested in taking part will gather at the MacEwan Terrace gardens before setting out for the tour, and they are asked to preregister ahead of time.
