Fundraiser offers good food and good music

The 11th annual Mississauga Rotary Ribfest is returning to the city for four days this month. A portion of proceeds will go to support the Rotary Clubs of Mississauga.

Fourteen ribbers have been confirmed to appear at the show and offer plenty of great food for everyone. Other food vendors will also be on hand for those who prefer something different, or in addition to chicken or pork. Local businesses, such as Investors Group, are also slated to be there to provide information about their services.

One of the main parts of the festival will be the musical performances. Confirmed acts for this year's event include The Argues, Backroom II, Fiddlestix, and Loco Zydeco.

For those who wish to help with the running of the festival, there are both adult and student volunteer positions available; students must be 16 or older.

No doubt many of the ribbers participating in this Mississauga event will want to draw as much attention to their booths as possible. Many may do this by ordering banner printing services from their favorite Print company; a colorful banner that can be seen from a distance will likely attract more visitors.

The Mississauga Rotary Ribfest is being held at Celebration Square from July 17th to 20th. Admission is free, but donations to the Rotary Clubs are appreciated. Call 1-855-742-3378 x100 for more information.
