A program that helps to control the population of strays and feral pets by spaying and neutering individual animals in both Canada and Thailand is hosting an event it hopes will raise both awareness of its cause among the public, and funds to help support its work.
Mississauga’s Erindale Park has been chosen to host the ‘Soi Dog Canada Mutt March’, and it promises to offer lots of fun activities the whole family can enjoy. Along with this, there will be an area set aside for vendors of pet-related products and services, and the attendees will be invited to join in a 2K or 5K walk with their furry friend.
The schedule for the day begins at 9:30 am when registration will open, and the attendees can visit the vendor displays , play games and meet the other guests. The walk will begin at 11:00 am, and after this, there will be a variety of contests such as Best Trick, Dog and Owner Lookalike, and Best Dressed Dog.
