Mississauga will soon be playing host to an event designed to appeal to those who have a love of music, whether they play in a band, want to learn how to play a new instrument, or just enjoy listening to it.
The Mississauga Music Festival will give those who come out a chance to browse through displays set up by exhibitors in the field. Along with this, each hour, there will be a presentation by a different expert. These are designed to be of interest to everyone.
A total of 36 unsigned bands will be performing throughout the evening, with six taking to the stage each hour, and all those who come out to browse and learn will have a chance to win a prize.
The organizers are also seeking volunteers, sponsors, musicians, or guest speakers who would like to lend a hand. Those who are interested are asked to call 905-783-1777 for further details. A company that produces ad specialties and other marketing products can be called upon to create promotional items for an expo such as this.
The event has been planned for Mississauga’s Clarke Hall from 10:00 am until midnight. General admission tickets for the first part of the day, which runs from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, are free, while passes to hear the bands from 6:00 pm until midnight are $10 each. They, along with further information, can be found on the Mississauga Music Festival’s Eventbrite listing.
