Additions made to GO train service in Mississauga

Mississauga residents who use the GO commuter transit system will now find it more convenient to use the train to get back and forth from Toronto.

An extra train has been put into service on both the morning and afternoon schedules. These will both make stops at each station along the Milton line, including Meadowvale, Streetsville, Cooksville, Dixie, and Lisgar. It will leave the Cooksville station at 9:00 in the morning, arriving at Union Station in downtown Toronto at 9:30am. In the afternoon, it will leave Union Station at 3:40, and will arrive in Milton at 4:38pm.

The Minister of Transport, as well as other local dignitaries, was on hand for the ceremony that marked the increase in service, giving out both coffee and schedules for the additional trains. This new addition to the daily service is expected to make it more convenient for people who work in Toronto and those who travel there to get back and forth.

Undertaking steps such as this, which make is simpler for people to come to the downtown area, can be a boon for the businesses that are located there, as it can make them more accessible for shopping or other purposes. A printing company can design and Print schedules and other promotional materials for distribution to households serviced by the transit system, which will make people aware of the improvements and upgrades.
