It is almost time for the annual Cambridge Santa Claus parade, and its organizers are looking for input form the community to help make it a success.
The event, which will take place in the evening, will include a variety of floats, bands, marchers and more. Community groups, businesses and organizations that may be interested in taking part are invited to apply online to do so.
According to the parade’s organizers, since it will be taking place at dusk, it will be an excellent setting for floats that incorporate colorful lights and sound. They have requested that everyone who is planning on making an entry should ensure that it is illuminated and as festive as possible. Prizes will be awarded to those that show extra creativity. The total length of the procession will be 100 entries, with the time allocated for the event being 90 minutes. The cost for a not-for-profit organization’s entry is $125.00, and for a business, it is $325.00.
