Those who need to access emergency services at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital are being asked to use the entrance in its temporary location, where it was recently moved.
The entrance was formerly located on the west side of the building, but it has been shifted to the front to accommodate the construction that is currently taking place.
The director of the facility’s capital redevelopment project is asking the public in need of emergency care to go to this door first, and once they enter the building, they will be seen by a nurse in the new triage center and then escorted to the emergency department.
Signage has been erected to let people know about the change, and a company that supplies printing services can provide this, as well as Brochures and other materials that can be mailed out to remind people about where they should go. Extra security has also been put in to place to direct people to the temporary entrance.
A parking lot has been reopened at the front of the building to allow the public to be able to park close to the door.
The construction of the new patient tower is expected to be completed sometime in early 2017, and once it opens, the emergency department and triage center will be relocated to their permanent home.Get a Free Quote for Brochures
