Cambridge venue plans March break Broadway boot camp
For those looking to educate and keep their children entertained over March break, the Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy may have the solution.
The Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge hosts a wide range of musicals and plays throughout the year, making it the perfect venue for the upcoming Disney on Broadway March Break Boot Camp.
Designed for those between the ages of six and thirteen, this musical boot camp will teach registrants four Disney musical production numbers. While working with professional artists performers will gain a backstage insight on how major musicals are performed and rehearsed. Students will utilize fundamental skills in acting, singing and movement and build skills in choreography, building characters, reading sheet music and vocal production, all while performing within an ensemble. On top of this, students will also attend workshops on audition techniques, on-camera acting and stage combat and perform in a showcase on March 14th at 3 p.m.
Performances like the ones the students will be practising for and shown at the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge often utilize brochure printing to share information about the performance and the performers. These brochures make for many young performers a treasured keepsake after the performance.
