Starting a new business may not be an easy task, but a Cambridge workshop may help to take some of the mystery out of the process, and tickets for this learning opportunity are free of charge.
Those who have been giving some thought to starting a company of their own and are in need of some help may want to add their name to the list of attendees for the Legal Business Structures and Fundamentals session. It will be offered courtesy of the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre at Cambridge City Hall, and it will take place during the evening.
This activity will serve as an introduction to organizing businesses, and the participants will learn about three models that are commonly followed. These are corporations, partnerships and sole proprietorships, and during the workshop, tips will be provided for choosing the best model for a particular company.
An organized learning activity provides members of the public with an opportunity to gain new knowledge. Organizers often count on the assistance of printing services companies to create promotional materials that spread the word to those who may be interested.
