Now that summer is almost here, the people of Cambridge are ready to get outside and enjoy the parks the area has to offer. Two events in particular are getting residents excited about enjoying the warmer weather over the coming months.
The first of which, Cambridge Canada Day, will be held at Riverside Park. It will feature a fishing derby, a beer garden, musical entertainment, midway rides and a parade. There will also be several children's activities such as a petting zoo, pony rides and make and take crafts. The celebration will end with a fireworks display at dusk. Vendors will also be on hand selling a variety of arts and crafts and other merchandise.
Later in July, the Forbes Park Music Festival will come to Cambridge. The event will feature clowns, jugglers, live bands and arts and crafts vendors. There will be plenty of rides and games for children, including a splash pad. Refreshments will also be available for purchase.
It's very likely that Cambridge printing companies have been called on to produce marketing materials for both of these events; this will probably include items such as Flyers and Posters.
The Canada Day celebration in Riverside Park will take place on July 1 beginning at 8:00am. Contact Elaine Downton at 519-740-4681 x4397 for more information.
The Forbes Park Music Festival will take place in Forbes Park on July 6 from 10:00am - 10:30pm and admission is free. For more information, call Colleen Lichti at 519-740-4681 x4459.
