Cambridge hosts family focused Canada Day

This Canada Day, Cambridge is celebrating families with a wide range of family-focused events and activities.

At 102 hectares, Riverside Park is considered Cambridge’s largest park, with a wide range of trails, a boardwalk and several sporting amenities, including a baseball field, soccer field and tennis courts, and it will soon play host to the city’s Canada Day event.

The 2025 Cambridge Canada Day Celebration will kick off with a local favourite tradition, the Annual Fishing Derby, with registration starting at 7:45 am and the tournament running from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. From there, the community can enjoy the Canada Day parade at 11:00 am, which will begin at the corner of King Street and Bishop Street and end on King Street and Eagle Street.

The Riverside Park main events will take off from 12:00 pm to 9:30 pm, including activities like live entertainment from Farm League, axe throwing, an inflatable obstacle course, zip-line rides, dunk tank and hot air balloon rides. Attendees can also enjoy the beer garden, discover new local vendors at the marketplace and grab a bite to eat from a variety of food trucks, with the day wrapping up with a fireworks display.

Canada Day organizers planning events in large parks or in multiple locations often invest in flyer printing to give an overview of activities for attendees.

The Cambridge Canada Day 2025 will take place on July 1, with events occurring throughout the day at Riverside Park, located at 49 King St W., Cambridge.
