A Cambridge venue that offers a step back in time to the early days of the community has organized an event that will welcome local tea lovers next month, and it has proven so popular an additional date has been added to its schedule.
McDougall Cottage Historic Site will be running its series of Holiday Teas this December. Those who are interested can purchase tickets for themselves or to give to someone special, and advanced tickets are required.
Each of the guests will be treated to both sweet and savoury options to go with their bottomless pot of tea. Scones, finger-style sandwiches and holiday sweets are all on the menu, and the atmosphere will be warm and cozy. Advance notice must be requested by any groups that would like to sit together. A holiday tea or other social gathering may provide a place to relax away from the rush of the holiday season. Table seating cards, printed Menus and other custom printed materials that may be needed for a special event like this one can be prepared by local Stationery printers.
