Cambridge golfers to support accessibility

A Cambridge outing that will make life more accessible for those with a physical disability will bring some extra fun to June, and anyone who would like to tee off is welcome to attend.

Galt Country Club Limited will host the 2023 KW AccessAbility Golf Tournament. Over the years, the tournament has raised over $30,000 to help make the area more inclusive, and its organizers are hoping this year will be a big success.

The day will open with registration and lunch, and while they enjoy their meal, the registrants will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with the other players. After this, it will be time to take to the course, and there will be an assortment of special challenges set up.

Once everyone has played through, they will be invited to retire to the clubhouse for dinner, more socializing, and a presentation of prizes. Door prize draws for a variety of gifts are on the agenda, and a silent auction is also in the works. Corporate Gifts are often donated to such activities.

Tickets for this day of golf start at $267.58. Those who sign up before the early bird deadline of May 10th will have their names entered in a special draw.

This chance for Cambridge golfers to support a local cause and have fun while doing so has been set for June 26th. Its Eventbrite listing provides further details and a registration link.
