Cambridge family tea to boast fairy theme

Another summer is on the way for Cambridge, and that means it's almost time for a special, fairy-themed event.

Families who attend the Enchanted Fairy Tea by The Grand will be treated to a morning of whimsical fun. Both the young and the young-at-heart are on the guest list, and the activity will be held at McDougall Cottage.

The guests at the tea will be enjoying a variety of sweet and savoury treats, and they are welcome to come dressed in their fairy best, if they wish. Cupcakes, sandwiches and both tea and cold beverages are all on the menu. The kids will be invited to make a themed craft to take home with them, and everyone who attends will need to purchase a ticket, unless they are age 3 or under. Kids need to be accompanied by adults throughout the event.

Summer events often take place outdoors and these activities may require decor that won’t be damaged by the elements. A banner printing company is often employed for outdoor events, and many of the items it creates can be deployed more than once.

This morning of fairy fun will get started at 11:00 am on July 10th. Tickets for the tea are $29.95, and it’s set for 89 Grand Avenue South. Registrations can be made online on the Waterloo Region Museum website.
