Cambridge event to help make networking a snap

Networking does not come naturally to everyone, so the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a workshop that might come to the rescue, presented by Chamber CEO Greg Durocher.

The session will take a lighthearted look at networking and why it can be so difficult for some to break the ice, let alone exchange Business Cards. The goal is for all of the participants to walk away with a better understanding of the importance of this type of social activity, and also for them to be ready to put the tips they will learn into practice right away.

Dubbed “Energize Your Networking” the workshop will share tips, including the steps that can lead to a successful networking session. The information shared will be actionable, and the group will receive advice that can turn an experience that can be nerve-racking into one that is a lot more enjoyable.

This event is free for Chamber members, and anyone who needs additional details can contact 519-622-2221 ext. 2225. Print shops can provide organizations that host events like this with printed Calendars which they can distribute to their membership so that they know when they will be held.

This learning opportunity will be on offer next Thursday, October 24, at the offices of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce. It is located at 750 Hespeler Road.
