September will soon be here, and that means it is almost time for a popular fundraising tournament hosted at a Cambridge golf course.
The golfers who take part in the 3rd annual Golf Classic that will be on offer at Galt Country Club will enjoy a full afternoon of active fun. It is being held in support of St. Luke’s Place, and the proceeds will help to fund its kitchen upgrades.
The players in the tourney will be treated to lunch before they take to the greens for what may well be one of the season’s last opportunities to do so. The play will open with a shotgun start, and a raffle and other prize draws are in the works. Once each ticket holder has played through, it will be time to retire to the clubhouse for a dinner and presentation of awards. Allie, who is the local Oktoberfest Ambassador, will be on hand during the lunch, and tax receipts will be issued.
The entry fee for this day of fun in the sun is $300 each, and a special rate will be offered to groups registering as a foursome. Golf balls, hand towels, visors and other Promotional Products printed with a group’s Logo Design are often distributed as swag during a golf fundraiser like this.
