Learning to play an instrument gives kids a skill they can enjoy throughout their life, and a Cambridge music school has openings in one of its latest classes for educators and parents alike.
The Great Lakes Suzuki Flute Institute’s “Every Child Can” offers an introduction to teaching music that follows the Suzuki philosophy. It is the first step in the Suzuki Association of the Americas’ Teacher Development program, and the registration fee for each learner is $150.
The workshop has room for as many as 15 learners, and it will be spread out over two days. The instructor will be Kelly Williamson, who holds a Masters level degree from l’University de Montreal. The plan is to offer the class online so that everyone can participate safely, and both days will run from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm. Anyone with questions about the activity is asked to call the organizers.
During an event like this, students often receive handouts and other learning materials. Print shops will be able to provide as many Copies of these as needed, along with promotional Pens and other branded items.
The Great Lakes Suzuki Flute Institute has scheduled this learning opportunity for July 9th and 10th, and registrations are now being accepted. Teachers, parents and anyone else who works with kids is welcome to take a seat in the class.
