A educational opportunity is on offer for law enforcement professionals, and it will take place in Cambridge this summer.
The Great Lakes Police Motorcycle Training Seminar (GLPMTS) will offer police officers who use a motorcycle a way to add to their driving skill set, and it is open to attendees from all over North America. It will offer them a learning environment that is both safe and supportive, and a portion of the registration fees will be donated to the Ontario Police Memorial Fund.
The syllabus for the two days of training includes a variety of topics, and it will teach the learners how to perform their duties safely and effectively while on a motorcycle. It will also give the officers an opportunity to network and connect with other law enforcement professionals. One of the unique aspects of this event is that it is also open to civilian riders, and a special guest speaker has been booked to address the group.
When preparing for an educational event like this, the organizers often choose to present each attendee with a seminar package filled with learning materials, promotional Pens and other items. These make it easy for the recipient to make notes and continue learning after the function has ended.
The 2021 GLPMTS will be welcoming participants starting on August 21st. The location will be released to the registrants at a later date.
