Working at heights comes with its own set of risks, but a Cambridge workshop will help to mitigate the danger.
A day of training is on offer in the city for those who spend their work day well above ground. It will be facilitated by a qualified instructor from Total Rescue, and will follow a modular format.
The learners who register for the course will take part in both Working at Heights Basic Theory and Working at Heights Practical, and these will take place separately. The attendees will be taught what their rights and responsibilities are when it comes to workplace safety, and they will gain some experience with personal fall arrest equipment, such as a lanyard and harness.
Once the students have completed the training, they will participate in a written knowledge evaluation, and also an interactive practical evaluation. If they successfully complete all the components of the course, they will receive a certification in Working at Heights that will be valid for three years.
Offering the successful participants in this sort of function printed certificates and wallet cards will make it easy for them to show their certification on their next job hunt. Stationery printers will be able to prepare these sorts of items, and they can include the organizer’s Logo Design.
This approved Working at Heights class will take place on December 8 and it will be offered at 25 Sheldon Drive. The fee to register starts at $200.
