Many Cambridge kids are fascinated by bugs and other creepy crawlies, and a local attraction has created a new program that will satisfy this curiosity.
Whether they chirp, sing, buzz or do not make any sound at all, insects communicate in a variety of ways, and Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory will give budding entomologists an opportunity to explore how bugs “talk” to one another. It will be a hands-on activity, and admission to the self-guided exhibit is included in the general entry price to the facility.
This holiday activity, which may be of interest to bored kids and harried parents alike, will give children a way to explore how insects communicate using sound, colouration, lights and motion.
