Cambridge company adds 200 new positions to its roster

Equipment manufacturer Eclipse Automation has recently expanded its operations, adding to the size of its facilities and taking on new staff.

The company, which started out at 130 Thompson Drive and now has three plants in the city, recently increased one of its buildings by 15,000 square feet and added 25 new employees to its roster.

According to Eclipse Automation’s president, this is the next step in expanding its services, providing greater manufacturing capabilities and offering improved efficiency in meeting its customers’ needs.

For the past 10 years, the company has provided customized equipment for the solar power, transportation, communication, electronics, manufacturing, and health services sectors.

The firm’s marketing and communications coordinator noted that the success of the business is a reflection of both the solid financial and business practices employed by its management.

The company has been steadily growing and employs 200 people in Cambridge alone. It has also opened up plants across the border in North Carolina and California, which has allowed it to reach new markets and expand its customer base. It has even achieved the status of an ISO 9001 registered company.

Expansion often calls for the services of printing companies, as they can provide all of the materials that may be required to provide staff with information on the updated facilities, and jobseekers with details of new posts.
