There is something special about enjoying freshly crafted cupcakes decorated by hand, and a Cambridge class will soon see local adults head to the kitchen so they can whip up a batch for themselves.
Reverence Barrel Works will be supplying libations for a workshop that will teach some of the basics of cake decorating, and while they work, the group will be welcome to sip on a craft beer. Buttercream icing and other supplies will be provided, and each ticket holder will receive a drink token.
The instructor will walk the learners through a variety of cake-decorating techniques, and they will learn how to use a frosting bag with an assortment of piping tips. At the end of the session, they can box up their treats to take home, and they can choose to share them or keep them for themselves.
Along with their cupcakes, each attendee will receive a copy of the recipe used so they can enjoy getting creative in their own home kitchen. Print shops can prepare items for workshops like this, and may even be able to laminate them so they can be kept safe from kitchen spills.
The Hoppy Cupcake Workshop, which is restricted to those aged 19 and up, will kick off at 6:00 pm on February 18th. It will be hosted at 1144 Industrial Road, and it will run until 8:00 pm.
